I swear by using mint man. As long as you stick to your budget it is a very useful tool for paying down debt and saving for goals. It takes in all your purchases/paycheques and monitors all your money.

You can't pay bills from it though. All payment stuff should be done directly through your main banking app;.

I also like Mint - takes a little managing for the first month or so but it only gets better the longer you use it.

Speaking of Mint, has anyone has issues with the app's passcode/Touch ID settings being reset automatically? It's happened to me a few times now, I'm not sure if the app is updating in the background or something.

Hah no worries. A ton of stuff was down last week. So I feel like everything was just going crazy and not working properly.

fack anyone else ocd about their homescreen? I change the icons/wallpaper at least twice a day. FUCK.

I never change my icons. Ever. Wallpaper I change occasionally, but not much.

I actually think OCD would be having it set how you want and never changing it.

I really hope these rumors of an iOS dark mode are true. I know they changed the WWDC app, and it looks great, so I'd like to see that extended over into the full OS.

That said, I bet we don't see that until they switch to OLED screens next year.

My dad does a hunting podcast with him and a few of his buddies. Does very simple recording (4+ mics into a mixer, mixer is just one track into the software) and some clean up editing, splicing, etc. He had my old 13" Macbook Pro but it gave out last night (RIP buddy). Does anyone know if a regular Macbook or Macbook Air would be able to handle that with only 4 or 8gb of RAM, slower processor, etc or should he look at getting another macbook pro?

    Thx

Was it ever figured out how to make the recently added tab in iTunes to look like this again? It bugs me to no end that I can't find an option to fix it.

Do or do not, there is no try.

I don't have a huge wish list for WWDC this year, system wide dark mode and a revamp of Apple Music will keep me content as long as it's done well. Wouldn't mind the 2nd gen of the Apple Watch being announced, interested in getting one but not the first gen.

So my 6 decided to go swimming in the hot tub this weekend. Luckily I pay the monthly insurance on it through AT&T. I put in my claim and they're only charging me $150 for a replacement phone and they're replacing it with a 6S instead of a 6. So that's pretty cool.

I think the biggest thing I want from WWDC is a system wide dark mode. IMO, it's been a long-needed feature. With the move to OLED screens next year it's inevitably going to happen by the time iOS 11 is here.

The change to the WWDC app, and all of the promotional materials for it has me semi-hopeful.

This is based off a 'sketchy' rumor, but if this is an option for the next iPhone, I will buy 500 of them:
