Elliot should have more opportunity to score now that Wentz is back. Foles wasn't putting them in scoring position through the first 2 weeks.

Bailey didn't have much opportunity last year because Dak couldn't move the ball. The Vikings move the ball and put themselves in scoring position a ton.

But between Elliot and Bailey, I'd think theres not much difference.

Yeah, I do think Bailey will be better this year than last. That said, how much work has he put in over the past year? I'm always wary of picking up a guy who wasn't in training camp/kicking in preseason, etc.

Elliott did miss a 42-yarder last week, which almost cost me my Week 2 (I won by .5). I do think he'll improve with Wentz back though.

Lost Legatron but somehow Mason Crosby was still out there. Definitely one of the few kickers that must be owned by a team

Ahhh close one! I picked up Bailey this week. Gonna see how he looks, if he does shitty I'll drop him after this week. Still a ton of good kickers on the wire.

Crosby is available in my league too strangely enough.

Rostered kickers: Legatron, Tucker, Boswell, Gostkowski, Bryant, Gould, Butker, Bailey, Elliott, Gano, Lutz and....Hauschka (why?)

Would it be foolish of me to offer David Johnson/James Conner + Keenan Allen for Gurley and whatever that would leave me with Smith-Schuster, Djax, ARob, Agholor, Enunwa and K. Cole

I'm so bad at gauging trades in FF idk if this is a terrible offer lol

I'd say hang tight with what you got. I mean getting Gurley would be awesome but ARI has got to get Johnson the ball and Allen is a top 5 wr in the league.

Crosby is also available in my league, but it's a 10-teamer.

Who's the better streaming QB pick up this week Stafford or Tannehill?

  10. xbrokendownx

    Lets Go. Prestigious

    probably Stafford

Tannehill has been pretty good/efficient, but the fantasy numbers aren't really there. Miami has thrown the least passes in the NFL so far this year through 2 games.

Oakland's run D stinks so I would imagine they will be running a lot. Lions will likely be in a shootout with New England so Stafford will have to throw a lot.

Was gonna grab Crosby and drop Butker (both fine options) but delayed for like 10 minutes and someone went in and grabbed him.

    Any RB2 or flex ideas?

I have JuJu and Cooks as WR 1 & 2 and have Gurley as my RB1. Freeman is my RB2 but obviously out.

As of now I have Chris Thompson as RB 2 and Jamaal Williams at flex.

Thinking of plugging Barber in over Williams but also have Goodwin, Funchess and Aaron Jones on the bench (Edelman too, but suspended).

D-Jax, John Brown and Ekeler are all available on the wire too, thought about picking up D-Jax or Brown but don't really want to drop anyone.

Too risky to start Wentz this week against the Colts? Streamers available: Bortles, Tyrod, Tannehill, Keenum, Dalton.

I would definitely snag DJax and Ekeler, Gordon is at the very least pretty banged up if he even plays at all. Drop Funchess and Aaron Jones

It's still so early in the year that I don't want to overreact to two weeks of production (or non production). D-Jax can be very hit or miss. Obviously, he's been very hit so far this year, but I'm not sure his production (or Tampa Bay's production) can be sustained. Most of his fantasy points have been on 3 or 4 plays. I've been stashing Jones the entire year because I have Williams. Both of those guys had monster games last year. And the first game was a a throwaway game because with Rodgers getting injured, GB was down like 21-0 so there was no real opportunity for Williams to get going. With Jones back, not sure who will take over as lead back but I'd like to keep both for the next week or two and try and find out. Funchess is still a red zone target due to his size, so might hold onto him for another week or two.

For some reason they changed their mind upon learning that this was offered to me as opposed to me offering it

The YPC Jones posted last year is absurd considering the state of that offense. I can see him taking the job away in a few weeks

I guess I should have said Josh Gordon on here lol. I especially should have realized that because I had a full blown conversation with a friend about it via text and he kept calling me an idiot the entire time because he said there was no one that would take the trade and I didn't understand why he just assumed that Josh Gordon was gonna be that good with the patriots. He said the exact same thing when he found out I was trying to get Josh Gordon and not Melvin Gordon. It was pretty funny with the miscommunication because I really didn't think I was making some crazy offer.

I have Phillip Rivers in my league and he is a very very serviceable QB. However, someone in my league (actually the guy I'm playing against this week) just dropped Russell Wilson. I am number 5 on waiver priority right now. It's worth giving up that waiver priority to pick up Russell Wilson right? I mean honestly I absolutely hate having 2 QB's on my team at one time because I usually stream, but I think if I do it I don't even drop Rivers for him. I just rotate through the 2, if I get him, throughout the season based on matchup. I don't know I almost feel like it's a trick and the person knows something about Wilson I don't know.

Might be worth using Wilson this week. Rivers if facing the Rams. Seattle has their home opener and I'd like to think they're going to do better than they did last week.

That's what I'm thinking. I absolutely think it's worth burning a waiver spot on and the 4 other people in front of me all have QB's that have really good matchups. I'm also thinking about the long run too, because Wilson is known for having a crazy ass second half of the season and his running upside is just so hard to get rid of. The guy dropped him for Andy Dalton. That's insane to me.

I’m in same dilemma. I want hold on and see how he pans out in that offense, but he is my first option to drop on my bench so it’s tough!

If you're going to waste a waiver wire position, I'd personally do it for someone you're going to play every week. That's always kind of been my rule of thumb. Not a big fan of having 2 QBs on a roster either, because you obviously can only play one and only need a back-up for a bye week and in that instance, you might be better off just streaming the best match-up during the bye week. What are other teams QB situation in your league? Is it possible no one else will pick him up? Some leagues may not pay attention to transactions after Wednesday (due to the initial waiver restrictions).
