Since 2010, I’ve upgraded my iPhone every two years after the fall Apple event, which put me on track to upgrade from the 7 to the XS or XR this year. Ultimately, I thought the updates for the XS were nice, but not enough to sway me, so on Friday, I upgraded to the now price-reduced X instead.

It’s only been a few days, but I absolutely love it. Maybe I’ll regret not going with the XS, but it seemed like it was worth saving a couple hundred bucks this time around for a phone that still feels like a massive upgrade for me. Who knows.

Updated to iOS 12 this afternoon and already sent my wife a ghost Animoji like a dork.

 

I’m wondering if it’s my fiancé’s uncle’s WiFi but I’m having trouble downloading iOS 12 at the moment

 

Mojave isn't until the 24th is seems. I thought it was today.

 

Just downloaded ios 12. First thing that I noticed was how much snappier it is now than where it was. V excited to explore this

I’ve noticed a little battery drain after the update but I’m assuming that’ll go away after a few power cycles.

 

Just got charged for my XS max, just waiting on it to ship now

 

Anyone have issues with charging their series 3 watch after os5 installed? I had to hard reset twice before mine would accept a charge. It would just overheat and stop responding when connected.

 

Ugh. I need LastPass to start doing this.

Edit: Apparently they are doing this too!

 

Siri shortcuts are really nice. Already found multiple places to use them.
