    Haha she's a fan of horror movies that are more supernatural, suspenseful, or eerie as opposed to gore and violence-driven horror. I haven't seen the movie, but the descriptions given in the trailer I think were her big turn off from it.

    Looks like I know what i'm watching alone tonight though.

    I fucking loved Mandy. Surreal. Fever dream. It’d be awesome to watch on a hallucinogenic if it wasn’t so intense. Cage was great, the perfect type of role to let him go bonkers with. I had a lot of fun watching it. So much imagery to digest too. I’d love to watch a directors commentary on it.


    Also, matchstick men had a very good Cage performance. One of my favorites with him. He was a lot of fun in Kick Ass. Great in Joe. He has some turds for sure, but he does very good stuff too.

    Just finished watching Pumpkinhead for the first time. Such a slow movie... Only the last five minutes were cool. I love that the creature design inspired the aliens in the Alien franchise so much though. Same guy designed both creatures and you can totally tell.

    Matchstick Men is possibly my favorite movie that Cage has done. Really well done.

    My friends and I watched Vampire’s Kiss a few weeks ago because they were familiar with the alphabet and “you don’t say” scenes and we were all shocked at how good a movie it was

    I Miss Jake W Prestigious

    i didn't realize Gareth took a break from The Raid.

    I was a huge fan of his VHS story so I'm super excited for this one.
    EDIT: Looks like he's also the writer.
