I'm an NHL 2004 man myself, but I'd agree with the latter half of that.

As long as they keep the same repetitive, inaccurate announcing.

Regardless of what happens the rest of this series, they really need to fix that Dillon/Polak pairing for next season. Whatever the fix is, whether its Mirco Mueller or a UFA that isn't Roman Polak, that pair has given me heart attacks all playoffs and I'm not even a Sharks fan.

The team should still be pretty good even with Thornton and Marleau another year older, they don't really have any key guys that are UFA, just Spaling, Zubrus, Reimer and Polak, with only Nieto and Hertl RFA.

 

Yeah, I can't say I'd be upset considering the Sabres would end up the beneficiary of teams having to dump solid vets to get rid of their hit

 

Pens had to lose that one, they would've lost the series if they went up 3-0

 

Next year it's most likely going to be Dillon/Demelo/Heed as our bottom three defenseman.

I've been constantly saying the sharks should play Demelo over Polak because he is good at shot suppression and fast. The problem is Deboer absolutely refuses to change that bottom pairing.

 

He grows stronger by each round.

 

So I'm in New York City an extra day now because my flight got cancelled and made the mistake of going by the NHL store. I love that I'd have more options to buy stuff if I was a fan of team that no longer exists than if I wanted Lightning stuff. Now my cousin has me harassing the staff to find her those little Lego like figures of the Staal brothers.

 

Eric Staal was such a waste for the Rangers this year lol.

 

I hate the NHL store. I've been there maybe once. Overpriced and obnoxious people. Hope you enjoyed NYC though!
