I think I can trade in my current phone and upgrade, I'll have to look into it. I need to see a true comparison of the 8 Plus vs. the Xr though.

 

Gonna have to do some thinking. Do love my 8 Plus, but that Xs really calls to me.

 

Digging the size of the Xs. May be time to upgrade my 6S haha.

 

I am on verizon, and when the X came out last year, I went through Apple’s website at 3am (yep — stayed up to get it, will do that again this year haha), and it asks for your information. They work with your phone provider to switch out the prices for you, then when they ship you the phone, you just send your old phone back.

At least that’s how it was last year!

XR is super tempting for me coming from a 6S, it's the logical next step. Just need to wait and see what carrier pricing in Canada looks like.

 

Congrats to y’all that can afford this. Staying with my 7 Plus if they aren’t keeping the X around.

 

My 6S is due for an upgrade I think, which is the phone she's using now. She wants my X from last year, so I may go that route.

I know 4 people plus myself with the 6s+ eyesight camera stability problem that plagued the 6 but Apple won’t recognize it as a problem because it didn't start happening until after the phone was 2 years old. It’s infuriating owning an otherwise perfectly working phone but not having the ability to take pictures or video. Add that to the long list of problems I had after the last big iOS update... Apple's been really letting me down recently.

 

Does anybody use up 256GB storage? It was the only option in stock when I got my 8 - and I've barely gone over 64GB. Only thing that ever took me over was having a ton of downloads on Apple Music and Spotify. Which is good, because I'm eligible to upgrade via the Upgrade Program and will be content with 64GB.

 

The bezel looks bigger on the xr. Kind of an eyesore compared the the xs.
