what up yall its the jazz man aka sakarazu aka ya boy this time without the stupidest dang username on the entire site

 

gonna be so confusing to try remember who the new usernames are.

 

I don't know why you didn't just make your username "jazz man," would've made this a lot easier.

edit: never mind, I see your user title. carry on.

 

yeah its gonna be a little hard but no way in heck was I gonna keep being my weird faux-anime sounding name I made when I was 12

 

tru tru I kept this for some dumb reason, had the perfect opportunity to change it but me in my hungover state kept the fire. couldn't think of a better one.

 

I went from using my last name to using my first name.

 

It really is a great show. It's one of the few I can come back to over the years and it just makes me feel good to watch.

 

Couldn't sleep any longer, so I'm up making coffee and cinnamon rolls. I'll be ptfo with a sugar coma in a few hours.

 

Scrubs is probly my favorite show ever, at least in terms of endless watch-ability and personal attachment. It's appropriate that my first "like" goes to something to do with Scrubs

well I made the name when I was 12 (2008-2009, aka 5 years into AP.net's life). I made the AP account at 15 with the same name

 

I'm not sure 15 is much better, but it's something. Haha

I bought Esperanza on CD yesterday. Pumped for car listens on that behemoth

 

I'm starting to have these moments more and more. I feel like we're close to when people will start joining the website roughly at the age I was when I created it. Which is terrifying.

 

Man I love the notification system here. Works great and the concept is exactly what it needs to be imo

I was probably 13 or so when I made my first AP.net account (using a friend's email address because I didn't have my own yet). It was an even sillier name than Fourchordwonder. That one came along two or three years later.

 

Thanks! I thought so too. Feels like the natural evolution from the WQM system from AP, but it combines some other tricks to actually make it more useful and find about things you need to know. Like when you're replied to, mentioned, or things like that. Now that more people are here I've been using that + the followed threads page (even more when when I was being a weirdo and talking to myself for a while) and it's so much easier to stay up to date on what's going on, get back to a conversation, and reply / check in.

 

tacosforcharles is from my early highschool days. friend came up with it for me when i couldn't think of a new AIM username haha. the only place it really stuck was on ap. i probably should've changed it on here, but oh well!

 

I originally joined AP as Scott Supersonic, which was my scene MySpace name. once I started posting more I promptly paid the $3 to change it to my actual name.

 

i joined ap cause i was hyped for memory & humanity by funeral for a friend and one of the songs is called somedaythefire and it sounded cool.

 

i already regret keeping my same name. might just cough up that money money.

should i do it?!?!

 

same lmao the only other name i can think of is my twitter username which is not much better

 

I was all about that band for like a two year period around Hours. I haven't gone back to see if any of it holds up at all — let alone checked out their new stuff.

 

apparently they never stopped making music? never really got into them outside of Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation.
