I’m just going to pre order the digital for the tour presale and then I’ll get the vinyl later.

 

I think the clear vinyl isn’t limited anyway, as far as I can tell. Feel like they’d emphasise if it was. You’re probably going about it the right way to be honest.

For real though, who is asking for cassette tapes? I simply do not believe the demand for cassette tapes matches how many I’ve seen go up for sale recently. The Vinyl Resurgence is not comparable to a Cassette resurgence.

 

cassettes are fun but i usually buy them from much smaller bands/labels that maybe aren't pressing vinyl because vinyl is too expensive to produce

I am guessing that ticket access with pre-ordering does not go for the future US dates?

 

The US store indicates that it will include presale access for merch purchases, for when the dates DO get announced

 

I want to know how big these Us venues are before I drop that 50 on a record/presale. If the venue isn't gonna sell out, I won't need to sweat this presale too much.

 

Resale might not be an option if the shows do sell out. Just something to keep in mind while deciding.

 

Always wonder what happens with those sorts of policies when somebody buys their kid/other half a ticket as a birthday/anniversary/whatever present. I'm from the UK and bought my American girlfriend a ticket to see these guys while she was in DC. If they would have enforced the name policy on that night...would she have not gotten in? Given that I wasn't even in the country to verify that? Or am I being thick and missing something? Just seems like a bit of an oversight in some cases.

Hahaaa, I only noticed it cos I was seeing how many different versions of the album they were flogging. Remarkably it's the same price as the clear. I was tempted to get the black actually, given that in past experience, black always seems to sound best (in regards to heavyweight) to me. Clear can be a bit hit and miss.

 

I bought a few cassettes about a year or two ago, only to realise I wouldn't even take them out the case in fear of ruining them, let alone play them and actually use them for their intended purpose. I feel as though they're just for nostalgia/collecting purposes at this point.

 

Not sure which one I like better yet, but I'm gonna get one of the 2

Yeah, but each era would have a different “rectangle” going inwards. Also, I am v white so it’ll appear white haha

 

That's sick! I would have the second design in that case, if you're having the others inside it too. That way there's a splash of colour randomly dotted about rather than bunched in the corner. Helps differentiate them I guess? But I would say maybe wait til the album is out first. I know it won't be, but...what if in a parallel universe, the album was absolute tosh?

 

Haha that’s my friends argument too, but at this point it’s more about the band then anything else...and I really like the idea/design so if it’s rubbish I have the “it looks dope” backup
