As someone who thought FOR SURE that Run the Jewels was going to close the possible hip-hop stage on Friday, I'm very relieved they're a headliner. They're absolutely amazing live.

Oh man, I love it when people defend a festival like pop punk.

 

I like Saturday, but Interpol has been my #1 priority since first wave was announced. But I'm also good with Beck, Jesus Lizard, Voidz, Twin Peaks, Killing Joke, Hot Snakes, Wolfmother, and Bully. Few others I'd like to drop in on.

That said, Sunday is going to be very conflicting.

 

Friday- Weezer, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Cypress Hill, Digable Planets, Liz Phair, The Aquabats, Pussy Riot, Face To Face, Arkells

Sunday- Run the Jewels, Incubus, Blondie, Father John Misty, Bad Religion, Suicidal Tendencies, Clutch, Superchunk, JD MCPHERSON, Fear

EDIT: i'll add more lower acts after a listen or two. I'm covering the thing so I'll be watching sets all day every day.

Makes no sense at all especially that TDS and Save Face are going to miss a day of the tour instead of playing Saturday the off day of the tour lol

 

I really hope Young the Giant and Weezer don't conflict, but they probably will.
I'm terrified for these schedules, there's going to be issues everywhere.

 

Are Weezer and TBS going to conflict? And same question about RTJ and Alk3 because that sure will piss me off

 

I'm conflicted because even with wait I would be very happy with run the jewels as a headliner because they're one of my must-see's but it really rubs me the wrong way that as recently as yesterday they were lying about having a 3rd headliner (that wasn't rtj)

Yeah, no, I'm with you. TEN posted their tour poster like an hour ago and I figured that was confirmation enough it wasn't happening. Real bummed about that though.

 

I'm passing on this because RTJ will be back for a headlining show or Lollapalooza and both are better than supporting this disaster.

 

Did they add anyone else besides TDS?

 

Blood People and Typesetter are both cool local adds for Friday.

I was going to say that Typesetter is an addition.

 

Street dogs are one of my favorite live bands and Cobra Skulls are one of my favorite bands period, so I may be the only one excited for Saturday.

 

I think this lineup is amazing, but they somehow made me feel disappointed in it.
