Seahaven is a band I should definitely revisit.

 

seeing this thread bumped makes me super anxious lets make a Boston Manor thread if there isn't one already y'all

 

I was not really a fan of Everyone is Going to Heaven, but I think Youth is fantastic. To each their own, of course.

Roam the Room from Youth absolutely has to be influenced by Gasoline. I think. Sounds so much like it.

What's wrong with giving recs out that are sonically similar to BN in here tho?

 

If I talk about Boston manor in Boston manor than new people don’t find them.. don’t see a problem with what I posted, have an issue? Don’t click on the thread

 

I don't see any issues in posting recs, just admitted some further discussion might be moved elsewhere later on.

 

Idk what I thought Boston manor sounded like but after one listen it definitely wasn’t that, and I’m glad bc i liked it a looot.

This one is also worth mentioning. Like the new Boston Manor record it was produced by Sapone.

 

I used to mix it up with Joyce Manor hahh, they also have a new record out soon.

 

Here to say that the Boston Manor album is awesome.

 

I am not hearing what y'all are hearing in that Boston Manor album.

 

Also while I'm at it Black Lines by Mayday Parade produced by Sapone. Like Boston Manor more of a dark alt rock BN sound compared to their previous pop punk work.

 

Before listening to BM I thought i had a memory of listening to a single and not liking it but in retrospect I think it indeed was the JM single. That said I’d never mixed em up before so I was disappointed with myself.

What is Sapone's best produced record? That's an interesting question which I'm not sure I have the answer to.

 

My pick is Science Fiction even though I think TDAGARIM is a better album overall, it’s not for the production. “Lit Me Up” in particular, is just an artwork.

 

Yeah, see, now this discussion is inviting conversation I think we want to stay away from.

 

I'm not trying to be mean, but if the thread exists and isn't locked, then the best use I can think of is use it to promote other bands in the same vein. I wouldn't have listened to some of these bands otherwise; and if a Boston Manor thread was opened I would have never have known. For any band/album thread, talking about similar bands and music is what helps make this a community. If the thread brings anxiety by it being bumped, you should unfollow it.
