Making your own pizza is where it's at. I don't like too much sauce and you are in total control of how it turns out.

Celebrated national donut day with a Bismark and a vanilla creme from dunkin donuts. Both were reallyyy good

I was at wal mart today and they had free donuts sitting in the middle of the store on a rack with no cover and even my donut obsessed self was like eeeew I don't need any lil demons spitting on these no thanks

Didn't celebrate national donut day because we don't have a lot of chain donut stores and the generic places don't care what day the internet says it is

Had no idea such a holiday existed. Too bad because I would have celebrated hard.

I went to my dad's last night and they had the best light summer dinner. Just fancy cheeses, crackers, fruit, avocado, tomato, mini bagels and cream cheese, meats I didn't pay attention to, hummus, etc. Stepmom said she got it all cheap at the discount store so I'm stealing the idea. Too hot to cook.

I have a very simple dish in the crock pot. Potatoes, cream cheese, powdered ranch, and cream of potato soup. Hope it turns out good.

Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.

I've done something similar where I add corn and shredded chicken. If you add enough broth it's a soup, if not it's still good as a hot dish.

I'm gonna see how it is when I get home and decide if it needs anything else. I'll probably put bacon on top though

Apparently there's an Old Chicago a few cities over but it doesn't have that killer deal.

Obviously Texas gets a bad rap. How do the regulars who live there feel about it? Are all of you generally in the Dallas area?

I'm in Houston but grew up sorta near Dallas. The others are all around there that I'm aware.

I love Texas and will never leave.

What do you like about it?

I still want to visit Houston and Galveston. Gonna be a while before that happens, though.

I live in Dallas area, have lived only here and in Killeen. Dallas is the perfect place for people like Chase and I honestly, it's got a lot of job opportunities, more affordable living than Austin/SA, and is a great place to raise children. I imagine Houston is the same but with more to do.

Austin's a great place to visit and I hear it's a great place to live but I wouldn't wanna live there. But it's got the more artsy side of Texas and is a lot of fun.

Overall I like it a lot and my favorite place to live is probably Denton, it's a more liberal artsy area than the rest of Dallas but is close enough to allow you to work in other areas and afford to live comfortably.

With that said, the weather (not the heat) sucks and regardless of that I wanna leave now.

It sounds a lot like Arizona haha. We have pockets of the liberal artsy crowd but seems like the opposite runs the place.

Is Arizona's dry heat really more tolerable than say my swamp-ass humidity down here in Florida? Just hard to imagine, I guess. Don't ever come to Florida. Fucking hot
