I’ve seen RTJ twice, and can confirm that they are one of the best groups I’ve seen live. Mike and El are class acts. Y’all won’t be disappointed

They gotta. I know last time they played Riot Fest they played the Concord with Naked Raygun.

 

So there's definitely still a third mystery headliner based on that poster.

 

It would help explain why there has been no after show announcements as well. Maybe ALK3 wasn't going to do one if blink was on tour.

 

None of this forgives being radio silent for this long, though. You could have released as second wave and left Blink on the line-up.

I never cared much for Blink-182, but I actually liked their new record!

I got unwillingly dragged to see them in Tinley Park a couple of years ago, and it was surprisingly a fun time.

That's a bummer.

Seen Weezer a couple of times, once great, and once where they seemed bored out of their skulls and just wanted to get it over with. So, we'll see how it goes.

 

Although I was never attending, I'm looking forward for Weezer's set and what they play because the summer tour they just ended was magical! Expect nothing less for this.

 

NEXT YEAR'S LINEUP DRAMA ALREADY BEGINS

 

We thought it was Blink 182 & a band they mentioned in a lyric as two of the headliners, when it's Weezer & a band they mentioned in a lyric as possible headliners...

 

They’ve been playing a lot of Blue/Pinkerton singles and deep cuts this year. The chances of them playing that are pretty high

I saw them earlier this year play for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and after they recorded their songs, they played all three singles from Pinkerton (Pink Triangle, El Scorcho, The Good Life)

It was a treat since I never thought I’d see them play Pink Triangle live

 

I will gladly take 2 groups I've been wanting to see (Weezer and RTJ) over a group I've seen a ton (Blink) but my girl is bummed because Blink was her #1 must-see.

Blink fans, keep your heads up. You've got next year.

 

Hahaha I was just texting my friend that they had to be adding a headliner and at least one more band because TBS hadn't been announced yet and then I went on twitter to see that announcement.

It's so clearly Bauhaus.

 

Green Day, Bauhaus, or OpIvy.

 

Their lead singer doesn't have a working visa.

 

Really hope if Bauhaus can finally get their visa issues cleared that the In the Flat Field tour will get a real US run.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it before... Probably someone did and i missed it

Anyway, on the poster, the yet-to-be-unannounced headliner is marked as "???????". That is 7 question marks. "Bauhaus" is 7 letters too. Putting 7 question marks with no purpose is kind of random so maybe it's another reason to believe that they are the final headliners.

I saw them play Rockfest back in June (the lineup of which is actually looking pretty good compared to Riot Fest now) and they played it. I think they've been playing it all summer too.

 

Maybe that matter this year. It's totally possible! However, that's been mentioned in previous years and it was debunked. The ????s before have always been random.
