Downsizing is almost worse than just not happening. Plus you have the stink of having to downsize because of financial issues and no neighborhood is going to want a cash-strapped festival moving into their park for a weekend.

 

i don't see why downsizing would be bad. i would take more middle and lower card bands and only 3 stages over 3 big headliners anyday.

 

And yet another contest that includes travel and lodging for those looking to make a last minute trip lol

I'm just going to hope something appears on the Riot Fest Facebook page today with the good news but it will probably just be some not funny meme or something about a dog for adoption.

Riot Fest is just waiting until all the dogs in shelters around the city are given homes. Once they do, they will announce all the info we want, including the third headliner: Morrissey giving a TED talk on animal rights.

 

We're going to be waiting for a looooooooong time.

Just messaged them on Facebook saying that I heard rumors about cancelled headliners, the fest not having permits, etc. and that I was nervous about having time to cancel my flight should anything happen with the festival...

The response? "Everything is happening. Promise."

Followed up by asking if they knew when additional information might be coming and got radio silence.

 

I messaged Conflict’s Facebook page asking when/if they’re playing. They didn’t respond. I thought as an anarchist band they’d respond to “break the system” or whatever
