Yeah, I’m kinda intrigued by that. The whole gimmick of having a movie be told via FaceTime/Skype or whatever is sort of a turn off but I’ve heard good things.

We’re gonna be showing Perfect Blue at work next week and I’m pretty damn excited for that. It’s been on my “need to watch” list for years now.

I had too many stupid interactions today to even count. One guy threw a 10 dollar bill at me, and then just leaned his back against the counter without saying what he wanted.

How did people find out about tours/when shows went on sale before the internet?

 

Today this woman was trying to buy rated R tickets for her kids, probably ages 8 and 14, and I wouldn’t let her and she said it shouldn’t matter cause she’s gonna be in the building watching something else. And I explained that she has to be in the auditorium with them. She wasn’t having it and of course pulled the, “well, other theaters let me do this” line. Bull. Shit. That’s not a Cinemark policy lol that’s like nationwide at all theaters.

I was like, “look, unfortunately this is a policy that I just won’t budge on”

And she goes, “no, your policy is making money!”

Meaning, I should forgo the rules because the #1 objective is to make money regardless of any policies set in place lol

Then she asked for my name so she could email corporate and said she won’t be coming back here...thank the lord
