I never said they would win 10

I said I wouldn't be surprised if they were anywhere between 6-10 and 10-6

 

No, but I say this more because of his ability to get a team “with the program” and cut down on stupid mistakes. There’s something to be said about getting your yeam’s head in the game and coordinating chemistry regardless what the strategy is.

 

I think theres more to be said about massively romanticizing the past haha.

 

Trading away your best player is the best way to get your team in that winning mentality.

 

Eh. Jags just playoff contended for the first time in 10 years by going back to how they built teams in the past.

I don’t agree with everything Gruden is doing. But in the right context, old school can be the simplest and most efficient path to victory.

4 in their division: sweep Denver, home KC, and home LAC.

6 other wins are Miami, Cleveland, Indy, Arizona, Cinci, and either Baltimore or SF (flip a coin).

It’s honestly not that tough of a schedule considering how bad our division is.

Their D is still good and Keenum is competent

Their D is way worse than it used to be. And Keenum is fine but probably worst QB in the division.

The Colts’ LB corps after the cut downs has 4 rookies (including 2 7th rounders and 1 UDFA), 1 second year player with minimal PT, and a journeyman. I don’t think I can overstate how bad this defense will be
