was just flashing back to my teenage years getting high. remember sploofs? putting dryer sheets in toilet paper roles to cover the smell? god damn that shit was janky

 

worst young weed story is when I was 15 and some friends picked up a random gatorade bottle we found in a baseball dugout and did BTs out of it

 

My dugout fell of my desk today and it fucking disappeared entirely. I’ve cleaned the entire room and it’s no where to be found. I’m legit about to have a mental breakdown over this. What the fuck.

 

Still can't find that damn thing and I don't know what to do about it. I feel like I need to report this to some sort of paranormal investigation department or something. How the hell does something just vanish like that?

Hate to say it but cbd has become the snake oil of our generation. Whatever good it has is being severely embellished. I just saw a fucking ad for "cbd infused" tooth picks. Fuck outta here.

 

Have any of you ever tried the herb Kava? I've had the actual ground root sitting in my cabinet for ages and have dabbled in the Yogi tea before (just kinda strikes me as a social buzz), but decided to finally try around six big scoops of the ground root today. It tastes absolutely horrendous and it took a really long time to hit me, but about three hours later I was feeling incredibly euphoric. I took a few hits from my pen while working and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. Nothing spectacular in a psychedelic sense, but I have no anxiety and feel pretty motivated to get a lot of shit done right now. If you can get past the absolutely awful taste, then I recommend trying a high dose to see what it's like.

 

Tried that last year. Tastes like ass and didn’t do shit to me.

 

I've read a little bit about Kava and Phenibute but I haven't tried either of them. I'll have to get my hands on some sometime.

I heard there’s a reverse tolerance so it takes a few times to build effect. I also just literally downed scoops of it in hopes it would get me to see some shit or something. Ive read some stories online about closed eye visuals. People say it takes 20-30 minutes but i had it first thing in the morning and it hit me hard 3 hours later. No visuals, just very strong euphoria.

 

Just pulled the trigger on a dry herb vape, kinda need a new grinder so I bought one too.

I 100% agree that the market is flooded with all sorts of bullshit. But I wholeheartedly believe that CBD has many benefits.

The toothpicks? Fuck no, but quality CBD products, yes.

 

Many benefits, no doubt, but without any other cannabinoids and terpenes that number drops significantly. Unfortunately we’re finding out more and more that, on its own, it’s no where near as versatile as it’s cracked up to be. Marketing it that way is only going to cause harm and potentially backlash when people start realizing this stuff isn’t going to magically beat their cancer or fix their back pains.

And you're definitely right about the crooked marketing of it.

 

Thats why high CBD % strains of flower with lower THC % are great. Just renewed my MMJ lisence and was talking to the doctor about CBD. They said that there needs to be a push for higher potency CBD oils and the like, (up to 500 mg dosing which seems like a lot but makes sense for certain patients with major issues) mentioning that in combo with a low amount of THC it has far greater effects/results especially for people dealing with high amounts of chronic pain. CBD infusing is cool in some stuff such as edibles (honey, coffee/tea, oils) and salves but it has turned into a ridiculous fad at this point. Most infused products on the market like those toothpicks have so little CBD in them (10mg-ish per dose) that its more of a placebo really.

Gonna smoke a purely cbd joint to myself tonight for the first time. Im on a business trip in bumfuck Arkansas and bought it on a whim at this vape shop. Ive had gummies before and i didnt notice any effect. I know its supposed to work medicinally and subtly like advil but will i be noticably more relaxed afterward or what? Just wanna know what to expect

 

...like high-cbd hemp? You won't feel anything. You might notice you're more calm/less tense if you have body tension but it's not really tangible.

 

75 MG’s. I know thats not exorbitantly high but I’m not a frequent CBD-consumer, though I smoke/vape weed just about daily. If it’ll help me sleep tonight, I’m satisfied. I also just enjoy smoking joints so I may find it pleasing regardless of it lacking a psychoactive effect.

 

You may have pavlovian effects just because you're used to feeling stoned after smoking but other than that you won't notice much.
