We'll that's bs, I've been holding an out of the way gym for 11 straight days by myself, and I've just noticed my pokemon has returned with no notification and no coins awarded.

 

Yeah you can only get a max of 50 coins per day. So you must have already gotten your 50 coins today from a different gym. Basically, there’s no benefit to staying in gyms for longer than 8 hours now, other than getting a medal for the gym.

Edit: Or, if that’s the only gym you’ve had, your coins just haven’t shown up yet, but it’ll only be 50.

I did the 9 eggs in about 20 minutes haha I only spend coins on incubators and hadan't bought any in like, 2-3 months? So I had a ton of coins, bought 7 extra incubators, put them on all my current eggs, and tah dah!

 

I’ll be in Iceland. Guess I won’t be getting Moltres

Whoever said this game is boring whenever the events end is totally right. I have 5% desire to play this game now and that's even with the Celebi quest.

 

Grinding for stardust always makes the game worthwhile for me lately, plus the fact that we rarely go a week without an event. But once I hit 40 (couple more weeks) I can see myself significantly slowing down.

But yeah with shiny Wingull, Moltres day, and the stardust rewards, I’m gonna be playing this a ton in the next week and a half or so.
