So safe to assume probably one more song before release? We got “Fairly Local,” “Stressed Out,” “Tear in my Heart,” “Ride,” and “Lane Boy” before Blurryface came out, I think?

 

Finally listening to My Blood, and this both doesn’t sound like them much at all and is easily my favorite and is the most immediate of the singles

 

I think it sounds like them. The chorus is just a bit different, although even it sounds like a further exploration of “Hometown”. Agree on the immediacy of it. Hope it blows up.

Anyone else love the mad Stranger Things vibes too?

 

Hometown is probably my least favorite TOP song of all-time and I don’t think it’s close. It bores me to tears.

 

Yeah I get way more Mutemath vibes from that chorus than I do previous TOP stuff, and for me that’s a great thing.

 

Ooo. I love it. The last four songs on Blurryface are one of their strongest runs of songs for me.

 

I got a Mutemath vibe too. My Blood has been my favorite of the 4

 

So apple music "leaked" the entire album for a couple minutes. People have listened to the songs. I'm going to be surprised if this whole album just doesn't drop soon at this point.

Didn’t care for “Levitate,” but “My Blood” is nice.

 

What’s the source? Didn’t see anything about this which is odd for a band this big.

Wow. I mean I obviously suspected this but man, I’m so happy for Paul. I was so sad when Mutemath seemed to be over last year, but what a great new gig.

 

Now all we need is for TOP to have an expanded live band which includes Paul!

I got so hype about the new album dropping early from a certain comment here and now I feel salty because it doesn't seem like anything is happening. And I was more than fine with waiting till Oct 5.

 

lol someone was arguing with me on twitter back when the jumpsuit video was released. they thought the album would be leaked in early August. i know this will be leaked (probably sooner rather than later) but dear god some fans are so delusional - this would not be leaked two months early lmfao

 

Probably not, although this band likes doing cool things for their fans. They leaked Blurryface on that Ghost Tunes site about ten days before the album came out. I could see them releasing it quite a bit earlier.

That's a funny thing for someone to argue with you about. Hahaha.
