Discovering that Paul Meany of Mutemath co-produced the new Twenty One Pilots album made me so happy... it sounds stupid but Mutemath have grown to be one of my favorite bands of all time, and when they effectively broke up last year I was so sad and was wondering if we'd even get new music from Paul again. Now he's producing one of the biggest albums of the year, and honestly as a fan I'm just so happy for him. Anyway haha

 

MuteMath and As Tall As Lions are two bands that never grew to the popularity they were owed. I remember vividly going to Best Buy to get Disambiguation when it came out, seeing that MuteMath had put out Odd Soul (didn’t follow forums at the time so I didn’t know they had released anything new), and walking out with both CDs. That was a great music day for me.

So my new job is amazing. Basically entering information into a new program, get to listen to music for 8 hours a day and I my boss hasn't come to check on me in my office since Monday afternoon. Is this what it feels like to have finally made it up in the office world?

I went from call centers to front desk having to answer phones non-stop to basically being my own supervisor and being alone 90% of the day (which I love to be totally honest).

I seriously haven't been this happy in.....almost 4 years.

 

I imagine this will change on Friday
