Meh, it will probably increase his appeal down here. I’m worried in November that Republican turnout will be even higher with a lot of the snowbirds returning. I don’t see Gillum playing well to the white over-60 crowd.

Biggest local issue right now is the algae bloom / red tide and that will have mostly cleared up by November. Besides everyone up North for the summer is most likely not hearing much about it. So we’ll get the same policies that have destroyed the beaches and local businesses and everyone will just shrug and say “what can you do about it?”

Fully expect to have DeSantis as Gov and Rick Scott as senator after all this - always hopeful I’m wrong but not feeling optimistic
