Listened to MSIT earlier and damn I love that album

And buying it later Friday and blasting that shit in the car sonnnnn

 

I'm surprised it hasn't leaked yet. Times are changing. You used to be able to find albums weeks before they are released. I keep looking but nothing yet. I havent been this excited for an album in a long time.

 

I'm gonna have to wait until Friday but I think I'd cave for a leak if it happened before Thursday

 

There’s always the possibility if you preordered a CD or vinyl it shows up on your doorstep a day or two early. That’s what I’m hoping for, it’s happened before

 

If this album does really good things could get super interesting in regards of more touring.

 

Definitely. I told you my theory. Cause Blink is well into recording their next album too. I see that releasing around June, and then with a band their size they’ll tour the album. If ITTC? Does well, I can see Alkaline touring in the beginning half of 2019, and then perhaps the fall after blink does a summer tour.

Define what “does really good things” means in the context of alkaline trio these days. Just curious.

I'm surprised that FB fan group even wants a new Trio album, most of them seem like they'd prefer Dan just go solo I swear lol

 

Listening to the Heavens album for the first time in several years and I like it so much more than I remembered

 

It's a masterpiece

 

The vinyl doesn’t ship until Oct 26

 

Yeah that Heavens record is phenomenal. Saw them when they toured for it, Matt was a drunken mess :(

That was 2006, not the best time in his life

 

His lyrics on the Heavens album are incredible. Some of his best imagery.
