Read on reddit it is full of bugs, then somebody responded saying they haven't had ANY issues with bugs. That's a stay away for me.

 

Damn. I'm gonna wait for more reviews then. I want it so bad though.

paladins newest patch it out now

 

Had a really good run in dead cells going had picked up a couple of legendary drops and felt confident i could beat the first boss. Found the exit butwas like "might was well finish exploring the level firstand get even stronger"

Then I get swarmed by a fuckton of those flying red bugs panic and die

Yes it's 100% my fault for being too greedy but the random nature of the game knowing it'll be a while before I'll get a build like that againis really deflating =/

Normally I end a run and immediately wasn't to try again but now I think I need to let it sir a few days

 

Legendary drops make it a ton easier to die also, not sure if you knew that

 

I don't recall this one having any negative side effects? maybe there was one I missed idk. It was one of the arrow traps that both burned and poisoned guys as well as pumping out of ton of damage so I could just toss it down, wait for it to kill everything, collect loot, repeat.

 

How does everyone here feel about frame rate? I read so much on reddit about people complaining about frame rate drops and what not on switch ports and I personally am someone who ISN'T sensitive to it. I don't even notice it usually? I don't know if it's because I am naive to what it looks like or because i'm just indifferent to the frame rate as a whole. Obviously you take a game like WWE 2k18 with those frame rates and it's unacceptable, the game can't even run properly, but outside of that, nothing bothers me, am I in the minority or majority here?

I am someone who is all about fun gameplay and could give a rat's ass about graphics. Hence me loving the Switch lol.

 

It depends on the type of game a lot. “Fast” games just feel better at 60, but 30 is often fine. Below 30 is rough though.

The review is good and people commenting underneath have said the game runs great on switch, I don't see any complaints about bugs so...

I said I wasn't going to do it but I'm going for it. On a mission to 112% Hollow Knight or whatever it is now with the newest DLC that came out yesterday. It's going to be brutal but this has become one of my favorite games of all time. I really want Dead Cells but if I stop now I won't go back, it's taken me 50+ hours to get this good at the game. Gotta keep the momentum going.

Hollow Knight has been purchased. I still need to play Celeste.

 

It’s so good. I did not expect it to be this good. I think I’ll finish it before this week ends.

I think the only gripe I had were frame rate issues in one map in the game. Fortunately that area didn’t need that much precision to navigate around so it’s not all bad.

 

So if I liked Celeste is it safe to assume I’ll get some enjoyment out of hollowknight? I haven’t played many metroidvania’s honestly.

 

Outside of 10 minutes of Ori I’m not even sure I’ve played a Metroidvania tbh

 

What does everyone think of Celeste on here?

 

Love it. It’s a difficult but fair platformer that surprises you with it’s story. I think it’s a must buy and one of my favorite games I’ve played this year.

 

One of my favorite games of all time at this point. The soundtrack, story, gameplay, etc are all timeless to me. It's super emotional. It's extremely difficult but one of the best parts of the game is that it never quite feels impossible. In fact, that difficult but not quite impossible nature of the gameplay ties directly into the story. Special game.
