I have TONS of evolution items, other than Dragon Scale which I have one of. I just need the Scyther/Onix one.

Annoyingly I missed out on the Spinda research.

 

i think the Spinda research is still live, as i got a "Catch a Meowth or Growlithe" today and they came in the same wave. it's likely just super diluted among the Johto tasks now and was already rare in the first place unfortunately.

 

Is anybody in here going to the Thursday show tomorrow?

 

I really need to find that Spinda task still

I still need to get more Onyx and Porygon and after that I'll be good on the evolution item ones

 

Curious to know if they've tweaked shiny rates but today I've caught a shiny Murkrow and a Houndour which I'm 99% sure are my first non-Community Day wild shinies.

 

Caught a shiny Sunkern on my couch. This house is lucky or something.

The rewards for a lot of the tasks I’ve been getting have been evolution items

 

evolved my Espeon today, wondering if I can walk enough today to evolve my Umbreon at night and get to the next task... HMMMMMM

 

I hate that I can never find a shiny unless it’s community day

hoping kyogre and rayquazza are breakthrough rewards soon as well, I missed kyogre twice and it was too frakkin cold to go do a raid when rayquazza was around

 

You might be waiting a while, especially since if the "box" legendaries are going to be given out as rewards it would presumably mean Ho-Oh and Lugia will come out first.

 

true I forgot about them, that would put kyogre and rayquazza into 2019

 

but then again, Snorlax. you're probably right but ya never know with them lol

 

I'm okay with having a few months of legendaries with the occasional pseudo-legendary to pad it out. I am curious to know if there will be some sort of twist once they start having to repeat.

 

i would really like to see them do pseudo-Community Day esque breakthrough rewards for Pokemon that aren't ever gonna get one. like for a month you get an encounter with a Slakoth with a special move and a 25% chance of a shiny encounter, maybe guaranteed one shiny no matter what or something.

 

I did the same thing with having three of the evolve a Sunkern/Natu quests. Didn’t get a shiny Pineco though. That’s probably about the eighth time I’ve completed that field research too and so now I’m out of sun stones and don’t have enough Natu candy. No shortage of Sunkern candy though lol.

 

Really want that shiny dawg before this event is over. Those hounds were probably my favorite from gen 2.
