YMAS

I thought YMAS was a bigger/more hyped band than HLH and Starset?

 

This SHITTY band is able to headline the fucking FORUM in LA?

 

Come into the thread to point out the band is shitty. Always a very nice thing to do.

 

It's not my thing but whatever. Still, had no idea they were THAT big in North America.

 

I think it would be Hands Like Houses, Starset, YMAS, BMTH.

 

YMAS is not that big here in the States. They have toured here less and less but they are good friends with BMTH.

 

What tour are you talking about...because YMAS would never have toured with them nor would BMTH now.

 

Oli doing ‘bite my tounge’ every night with YMAS? Yes please! Maybe BMTH can bring back ‘fuck’ for Josh to sing with them every night.

I’d pay BMTH good money to play “Fuck” if YMAS really are on the tour. (Or they should just play it regardless, but I doubt it either way, haha.. I can wish though.)

 

Yea I'd be so excited for Fuck with Josh. I'd be excited for anything from There Is A Hell.

That's some solid openers. It's been a long time since I've seen or even thought about YMAS, but I'd be excited to see them again.

 

Not gonna lie, I hated YMAS' last album. The one before it is good, if not generic radio rock. This new single shows promise though.

From SoCal. They could do it. It’s the only date in SoCal. It is smart they are only doing one date there. Orange County and San Diego fans will make the trek to see them.

 

I know if I were in the area I would personally go just to witness them playing at the Forum. I feel like a lot of people would do the same too.

 

I'm from So Cal as well. I know BMTH is big but 18k is a lot of seats to fill. Tickets aren't cheap either. Seats and floor tix are $55+fees (so around $70-80ish) and nosebleeds are $40+fees. That's pretty pricey to see BMTH tbh. I'd love to be wrong and be told they filled it up but idk if I could see it happening.

 

HLH, Starset and YM@6 seems like a really weak support bill? i know starset gets radio play but do they draw? do people care about ym@6 in the U.S.?

 

Starset does draw a pretty nice crowd actually. I can’t speak on YMA6 though

 

If you look at the ticket page for the forum, they're only selling the lower bowl and like 2 rows of the upper. So that's much less seats then the full capacity of that place ( no tickets behind the stage either)

 

BMTH doesn't really need big openers now. They outdraw ADTR when they play in Lowell.

 

Do you see the Lowell show selling out? ADTR sold out the whole floor and most seats
