I absolutely adore Opening Mail For My Grandmother. So very touching, and as someone whose grandmother had Alzheimer's and recently passed away not long ago, it's immediately become a very important song for me.

I adore every song, but that's the one I would probably cut in terms of the non-interlude songs (which I would keep all of)

 

Still wondering when we'll get to hear "Rain". The name makes it seem like it'll be a different version of "Sun".

Btw it'd be fucking dope if these guys really embraced their D-Plan influence and made a synth/electronic tinged song a la "You Are Invited"

I think the repetition is part of the point of the song, it's almost a giant tension builder then you get the huge release at the end

 

Yeah and I do get that, it just slightly loses my interest, which is unusual cause that sort of thing is usually fine by me.
