The sad part is I don’t even really remember the rumble. Or anything else to be honest. It all just kinda bleeds together

I forgot this happened, it was so long ago.

 

this was a good show. there is still no excuse for it to not have happened at Mania. Roman and Lesnar both look dumber than they would’ve then. Reigns will now be put to the test and there will be no excuses.
he humbled Lesnar and Cena clean. if he can’t carry the company now, he never will. it will be an interesting run from the summer doldrums til Rumble.

 

Finn vs Corbin was fun to see the demon squash Corbin. Nak vs Hardy was pretty good. Roman vs Brock succeeded in being a match that kept me entertained the whole time even if it was all a clever ruse.

Really the biggest problems were the sheer length, and the poor treatment of the women's division.

 

that's why I was glad there was no cash in. give Roman the belt and let him go. He'll succeed or he won't, but either way we'll know and it'll be done with

 

yea, sorry. no room for sasha, bayley, asuka, ember, ruby riott etc etc.

 

But at least we have EVOLUTION

 

This show was hilarious. 3 squashes, some weird Becky Lynch turn that everyone in the arena thought was just comeuppance, and the strange main event. I'm not mad, well finally see the Roman title run and we can move on. This needed to happen. The show though was straight out of bizarro world for me

 

Both would have been pefect on RAW or Smackdown. I get the Finn thing, but, that's 10 minutes of time thrown away for entrances, etc. Nak/Jeff would have been a great Smackdown after Summerslam main event.

Likewise for the mixed tag match, that should have kicked off Smackdown. Have a 1hr pre-show that starts at 6, boom, a 6hr event turns into a little more than 4. And nothing of value changes.

And we dont have to see a half dozen rematches on RAW/Smackdown the next nights

 

DC v. Brock is a fullblown $60 draw from me can’t lie

 

Show was extremely long, but overall I thought it was good. Definitely one of the better WWE PPVs of the last couple years. Like I said before, everything from the SmackDown side of things was really good. Raw side was all over the place, which is pretty much in line with the show each week as a whole, so I guess it's fitting. If we were back in the era of brand-exclusive PPVs and this was just a SmackDown card, I think everyone would be super high on the show (jk, we would have gotten like, 5 additional, pointless tag matches to dumb it all down)

 

Yeah. Also move Bludiges vs New Day and KO vs Braun to the weekly shows and don't do the Elias segment and I think you get away with an hour long pre-show and a three hour long main show which is what PPVs should be.

 

You think Finn was upset that he probably had to shave off most of his beard for the Demon paint, just for Corbin?

 

Show was fun, but Dan kept trying to steal my fucking ice cream.

 

i enjoyed the show but almost every match had some kind of fatal flaw that hurt it for me. could've been great but was just pretty good. styles/joe easy match of the night to no surprise

 

We always tell Dan we don't have any food in the house because we order in every night, but in reality we just hide it all before he shows up

Agreed. Miz and Bryan no. 2 for me, and then probably Seth vs Ziggler slightly edging out the women's triple threat if I ignore the Becky stuff following the match itself. Otherwise it might sneak past the IC title match. Nak vs Jeff was surprisingly good, too. Not sure what the point of Randy coming out was, though.

 

Roman’s emotion after winning it was great - him embracing his cockiness instead of plucky underdog is gonna do wonders for his character

Everything else was fine/made sense in the story they are telling
