I've been impressed with Ronda thus far in the ring, but it's evident she still needs time to figure out the moments between the big spots. Honestly, her holding the belt hostage for the next year is way worse to me than Alexa's title reigns (maybe not as bad as Carmella's, though). It's hard for me to envision WWE giving the rub of beating Ronda to anyone on the roster not named Charlotte at the present moment.

 

I, for one, am glad that we got a Ronda "Won't Be Slingshot Right To The Top" Rousey title win on the 2nd biggest show of the year, but no space on the card for Sasha, Bayley, Ruby or Ember.

At least when you lose to Ronda, its because she's a legit fighter. When you lose to Alexa, its because you were afraid to get violent with a kendo stick or because she ran around the ring and got a sneak attack or something. And you lost to a DDT or a punch.

But if Brock retains, we'll basically have the two main belts on RAW not be defended or featured regularly, which is insane.

to be fair, carmella wrestled twice in singles competition on tv over a span of 4 months with the belt. that's not exactly a workhorse
