First listen: I definitely dig it but I need more time to let it sit. I thought of it’s all crazy! at first but it definitely sounds like a further exploration of the softer songs on Pale Horses and Ten Stories.

I feel that I may be murdered for this, but I’m kind of unbelievably psyched this is coming out the same day as TOP’s new album. A very happy birthday to me.

 

I agree. Already the aesthetic of this album is a lot different from any other mwY album. Like i know the art is done by the same artist, but this art has a really different vibe than every other mwY album art, and then the lack of a title is huge

 

If we didn't know it was Vasily Kafanov who did the artwork, it would be unrecognizable as his.

 

Probably my favorite album art so far from them tbh. I can’t wait to hang that print on my wall

Much like the albums themselves, all the artwork is amazing and a different one could be my favorite any day of the week.

 

Anyway I said this already like 10 posts ago but I can’t believe how long I have to wait to hear this album. October seems sooooooo far away.

 

Could you change the title to reflect the titles? [untitled] & [Untitled]. Makes it look more intentional than at the moment. Maybe I’m just pedantic. It is interesting they’ve capitalised the full length. I like subtleties like that.

I’ve spent too long looking at his website and following him on Instagram. He does have diverse styles but if you’ve spent a lot of time looking at his work, it’s a familiar style here.

At 1:45 in Bethlehem, WV they do a weird wiggle sound effect on Aaron. I think that's the only time I've heard them use something like that no anything, other than his separate fuzz microphone he uses live and for background vocals on the albums.
