No kidding. I don't know what the prestigious thread is and the only artwork I've seen is the EP and heard a minute clip from each of those songs, haha

Welp, this sounds almost nothing like anything they've ever done. And I say that in a good way. What an interesting and daring band.

 

sounds most closest to the fantastic and underrated Pale Horses Appendix

 

WHAT

 

My only "complaint" about the appendix is that half of it is different versions of existing songs. I still love it and Chapelcross Towns will go down as one of their greatest songs EVER but it is "only" a few original songs.

 

I liked the chilling hebrew chants with the bizarre harmonies on that album. They legitimately freaked me out which is cool.
