Angelface would be a great name for a Pumpkins song

 

So funny at the end of that vid with Courtney saying Billy said the kids would love that Celebrity Skin riff. The first time I heard that song I was OBSESSED with it. To this day A C# F# is my most beloved chord progression 20 years later haha.

 

This is tomorrow and I am so fucking stoked. Also very glad I took the day off to give myself time to get downtown

I'm so happy for you! what was your favorite song they played? Are they doing any sweet arrangements? I've purposely stayed away from certain youtube videos that reveal too much of the show haha!

Awh, thanks! I won't spoil too much, then! Favourite performances were probably Siva (I'm big on Gish), Everlasting Gaze, Eye. The crowd went absolutely wild when Cherub Rock broke out. (My favourite Pumpkins), so that moment stands out, too. A lot of time and effort went into this tour, and you will be blown away seeing it with your own eyes soon enough! I will spoiler tag photos and videos when I get them up here, haha.

In two concerts I have now seen my five fav SP songs of all time.

Seriously still can’t believe it. Even up in the nosebleeds it was a great time. Will be doomed for work the rest of the week tho lol

 

My friend and her parents had an extra ticket for last nights show so I ended up going at the last minute with them. It was really an incredible show. I’m not super familiar with all their material (maybe about half of what they played) and I was pretty amazed. I have to imagine the die hards have been thrilled with this. Stage production is really cool too and definitely gives the right vibe. And damn you’d think they’d show signs of getting tired after playing 3 hours with minimal breaks but if they did they really did not show it. Glad I ended up going.

 

I’m floored still. I’ve never seen them live and they’re an all timer for me. When billy came out to play disarm my fiancé looked bad at me and asked if I was going to make it I was so excited haha

Muzzle in particular has been a top 5 song of mine pretty much since I was in like third grade. You could probably see my head explode nice and good from your seats haha

 

Related: I am hung over and more tired than I think I've ever been in my life. Work is fucking stupid today.

 

Getting to see songs like Eye, Siva, To Sheila, and other less known ones was phenomenal as well. So much attention to detail throughout all of the stage designs

 

Also in news that is surprising to no one, Jimmy Chamberlin is a machine

 

I cheered like a teenage girl when they did band intros and it got to Jimmy's part

 

Same as Jimmy is the Pumpkin who grew up closest to me lol

 

Jimmy is the best drummer ever! I'm so excited to see them! September can't come fast enough!

 

The setlists for both nights in Chicago were exactly the same? That's really disappointing.

 

I heard this, too! Especially since Billy said a while back maybe there will be some tweaks for Chicago.

 

What a bummer. I miss the old days of crazy deep cuts thrown in every once in a while. I gave me a real reason to road trip to other shows.

 

No Geek U.S.A. on this tour huh? What a shame.

 

That was probably one of my favourite moments of The End Times tour.
