Went out for a bit today and got 3 shiny Eevees... my fiancee got 9 in the same time period, haha

My depression has been pretty bad today so I haven't been able to get out of be which also means I didn't get any shinies.

 

Only got 1 shiny today. Didn’t see too many eevee. Like 6-8 Pokemon would spawn and I’d be lucky if 1 was eevee. It was also thunderstorming so I really couldn’t make the most of it. I think I have 5 shinies total. Gonna for sure do an umbreon and espeon then take my chances

 

got crazy lucky today, ended with 13 total and she got 7, so im giving her three and we’ll both have full sets and be a little future proof. caught one decent IV one at 91%, rest are lowwwww

I did get a 420CP eevee that I want to save to evolve into a leafeon though

 

I got 5 today, same as yesterday. Took a shot on one and it became Vaporeon so that’s done. Huge storm now which really sucks because I still have to walk a ton for Umbreon tonight.


Also had the worst heartbreak ever. Snorlax is my favorite and I’ve never lost one, I’m like 28/28. Spawned one on INCENSE this afternoon, Ultra, Golden razz, and it fled after one shake. Absolute devastation. The next one I clicked was shiny Eevee and I didn’t even care. My sweet fat man.

 

One shiny overall. So many Eevees caught. Kind of a bummer!

Lol ended up with 30 shinies between yesterday and today. Only one was top tier though and pretty low CP. I decided to switch to just shiny checking for the last half hour and I got like six during that time.

 

Nabbed two more shinies today at least. It definitely seems like every time I go out of my way to actively look for shinies, I have terrible luck. Whenever I don’t care about a shiny (shellder, Roselia, Murkrow) I’ll get one after just one or two clicks.

 

Got 4 Shinies yesterday in about 45 minutes and evolved into 2 Jolteon, Vaporeon and Flareon.

Went out for the full 3 hours with my daughter today. She got 8 today and has never used the name trick so literally already got one shiny of all available evolutions. I was happy for her.

I only ended up getting 4 today. Saving 2 to start walking for Espeon and Umbreon and saving the other 2 for Leafeon and Glaceon for when they are released and hoping to eventually randomly find one for Sylveon but that’s still a while off so I’m not too worried about.

Also, got a ton of each of the first 3 evolutions with Last Resort. Went ahead and evolved my 100% into an Espeon with Last Resort and as soon as it turns nighttime I’ll have an Umbreon woh Last Resort.

Only “collectors items” I’ll end up not getting is a shiny Umbreon and Espeon with Last Resort. There’s just no way I’d be able to walk another 10k tonight to be able to evolve it before it’s daytime. I could possibly get a shiny Espeon with Last Resort if I can get 10km in before it the Last Resort timeframe ends tomorrow.

Was able to catch 3 Slakoth’s and 4 Larvitar. Got around 130,000 stardust that I planned on saving for a trade but I used it all to get my 100% Espeon almost fully maxed out. Only need 20,000 stardust and it will be fully maxed out which I’m pretty excited about.

Overall, I had a real good day with my daughter school supply shopping and catching Eevee’s. The best part was when it was literally 3:59 and she needed one more to be able to have a shiny for all Eevee evolutions and the last one she clicked on was a shiny. Didn’t even care that I clicked 8 in that same time frame and not one of them was a shiny. (I kind of wanted one more just so I know that I would have one for Sylveon).

Today was a good last Sunday before going back to teaching when I don’t really get to play as much.

Edit: my daughter and I also got to do a Porygon raid which was fun, we beat it and both caught it.

 

Hope everything is okay man. I know how debilitating it can be. Fortunately, for me, Pokemon go is one of the things I can do that helps relieve it a little bit.

 

I'm sick of doing everything by myself. It's really hard to be motivated to do anything when I know I'm ultimately going to be doing all of it by myself. I don't mind doing things alone. I've gotten used to it over the past few years, but that doesn't mean I want to do that all the time. It's made me so bitter and I don't like that.

I really need to make some changes.

 

I got 4 shinies but only one with a decent cp. Named it to evolve into a Jolteon but it didn't work and I got a stupid Flareon. That's literally the only shiny I didn't want because it barely looks different. Oh well

 

Got 14 shinies today in the same time as yesterday, so I got 20 total!

At one point I got 4 shinies back to back.

 

The naming trick only works once, so you must have already done it.

 

I easily had the worst luck yet with this event. Zero shinies on day one, three shinies on day two. At least I’ll have a shiny Umbreon soon, which is what I mostly cared about getting.

I did catch a 2655 CP Donphan while out today, and that was a nice surprise at least.

 

Got 5 over the course of the weekend. 3 became Vaporeon, 2 Jolteon. Sighhhhhhh

 

one of my low-cp shiny Eevees wound up being a 96% and i got a 100% regular so that’s cool.

one would imagine we will be getting an event at reset today... right?
