Apparently they played "Demon and Division". But if I'm being honest, I don't even remember it.

 

Haven't seen anybody mention This Addiction relating to these two songs. Love Shame but these don't feel much like that album at all to me. Production wise and tone, especially with Cursed I just get Good Mourning vibes if anything

 

Seems appropriate to mention they're at 666k listeners on Spotify lol

 

This has made me realise I never knew who produced the Sekrets and to discover that Cameron Webb has an engineering/production credit* on Babylon, which makes me even more excited for the new album. Babylon is really great, and I hadn't realised he had worked with Matt before. Actually, Blackbird sounds very Sekrets-esque, come to think of it.

*Danny Lohner is the main producer, though.

 

They played Demon & Division last night, it was pretty good. Skiba song with a Dan bridge, I remember the verses being really good but the chorus didn't hit live with me

 

I saw the video on YouTube, it sounded cool and fun but also the weakest of the three songs.

 

Yeah it definitely felt the weakest of the three at least live. Matt definitely seemed a little nervous playing it, still good though. Album is shaping up to be very solid

 

I said it in the tour thread but only 2 songs from Infirmary was a damn crime

 

He looked nervous in the video, someone said a few days ago that Dan said Matt wasn't up to playing it.

 

Demon and Division sounds pretty great in the video I just watched. Can't wait to hear the studio version.

 

I love Shame. It's definitely better than Addiciton and Agony imo

 

MSIT is top 3 for me

 

MSIT is my number 1....because of memories and time I had during that era plus I just love fact that Matt wrote every single song there for his exgirlfriend and even put her picture on the cover.Sounds like something I would do if I was in band haha

Totally useless fact: IITC? is the first Trio album where Dan has the opening vocal part. Matt has opened every other Trio album.

EDIT: Oh and MSIT is the album that got me into Trio so I love it to bits.

I'm really upset that I didn't pick up that Shining poster they were selling, but I wasn't going to hold that in the pit.

 

Feels like it kinda could've been a Sekrets song (which isn't bad cause I love both albums) but better with the breaks in guitar for Dan's bass to stand out and also him on the bridge. Love the first two more I think still but excited to hear the album version

 

Did they have the tour artwork on a poster too?

Also how much were the posters?
