Embarrassing for the GOP.

 

I heard both of their voices in my head while reading that. A classic.

 

Going to be a very long night in Michigan. Many precincts ran out of ballots and people are still waiting in line until ballots are delivered so they can vote. This is in at least five cities in Oakland County. One precinct in Ferndale reported a malfunction in the device that takes your vote so they had to start counting manually. A friend of mine got there about twenty minutes before polls closed and his precinct ran out of ballots so they had to vote one at a time on a machine. He had already been in line for 45 minutes. He said he was watching people turn in their ballot tickets to go home because they actually couldn’t wait any longer due to work and kids. Happened in Pontiac too. Detroit precincts were also without power due to severe storms yesterday. It'll be a looong night before we get results. System sucks.

 

The fact that Republicans are still getting even a single vote anywhere in the country is baffling to me.

Bummer...Michigan was actually one of the places I had hoped progressivism would play well. Meh.

Is Whitmer decently progressive and people just don’t give her enough credit or is she like a super moderate?

 

I'm pretty sure she's a former insurance CEO so yea, I don't think nearly as much
