70k is not that much in CA though. maybe it's a fancy dog house.

I'd do it for less than I make now.

Honestly, like, I’m already a pretty happy person but my biggest gripe in life is that I’m poor so I 100% reject the notion that money can’t provide happiness lol.

yeah, I did a survey from one of my wife's classes and my main things that I want that I don't have now are money and being thin.

I think if i made 50K that'd be just fine.

Yeah I’d be much better off with 50k. At least then maybe I wouldn’t just be scraping by. I’m so tired of living paycheck to paycheck.

being financially stable would be the biggest thing to me because it would relieve so much anxiety I have over every facet of my life.

not having anxiety/stress about that would probably help me prioritize going to a gym and eating better foods that cost more than the cheap trash I eat everyday.

    I totally feel this, man.

I’ve been eating healthy lately, but I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of eating trash cause it’s cheap. And thankfully I jusy have to provide for myself

For the record, I do agree that money can’t buy happiness, but if you’re already a happy person then it will just relieve the main anxiety of life

I'm lucky that i don't really have to work about gaining weight (for now). I'm active enough and my metabolism is that of a cheetah.

I’ll be depressed forever but at least with money I can live out my escapist fantasies

I don't care about my insides because i can't see them and what i can't see can't hurt me

yeah, like I make a decent salary and have decent benefits and stuff so I don't mean to complain so much, but having a family of 4 living off the salary definitely makes it tough.

I look at the college hires that work here and they make probably 60k and are single, no kids, have roommates to share rent and don't have so much shit to pay for.

luckily my job is safe for now. found out this week.

need to kill it on this project though, plus also look for a better situation.

i have fantastic benefits but i make under 30k and that's just not enough to ever save, haha. Luckily those $5 royalty checks keep rollin' in.

    damn. that's low.

you'll keep getting those royalty checks until I get my ambiance soundtrack uploaded to spotify, then I'm gonna switch over.

    Jeff Bezos : 30k in 10 seconds (1/6 of a minute)

    @iCarly Rae Jepsen : 30 k in 525,600 minutes

It takes @iCarly Rae Jepsen 3,153,600 times longer than Jeff Bezos to earn the same amount of money.

So your joke should be "He's obviously working 3,153,600 times harder than you"

i don't have a degree, just an AA because i can't decide what to do :crylaugh:. My grades are always great but my interests are spread all over the place. No idea how to choose a degree, or if i even want to cause everyone gets into crippling debt when attending college. At least the AA was free cause of my SAT scores.

Just get a degree in communications cause it’s the easiest. I think the degree you have doesn’t really matter so long as you have one.

The larger issue of course is that BAs are so ubiquitous now that everyone wants to see that you have a Mastere. Honestly though, once our road trip show takes off it’ll be smooth sailing

Haha a job in the entertainment industry would for sure be the most fun for me but that is nearly impossible.

You're right about the Masters. So many of my friends went that route but were only able to cause they're in the top of their class so it's relatively free to pursue. I don't know how other people do it.

If communications is so easy, why is everyone so bad at it?

yeah like @dog said just having a degree is important.

doesn't really matter what it is in.

I've met software developers that work with me that have a BA in business. Even my degree is in electrical engineering and I'm doing computer science work.

alot of companies wont even talk to you if you don't have that BA.

I'd look into any state/federal programs in FL for that kind of stuff. or ask your work to pay for it, I'm considering getting my masters after my wife finishes her masters, if I can get the company I'm at at the time to pay for it since I don't have any coupons.
