Basically any band in the genre with soft/loud dynamics is in some way influenced by the Pixies imo.

When I was younger lawn was usually what I bought for outdoor amphitheater shows because I was cheap and it was easy to hang with friends there.

Nowadays I want seats. I’m too old to stand in the pit for very long and I want a better view than lawn. But I’ll take pit over lawn if there’s no seats

 

I used to have a coworker with the last name Messer. We sat next to each other for a while. And yes, our names rhymed.

yeah, i'm totally fine with the pit. but it's so damn expensive at amphitheaters. but actually... i just hate amphitheaters, in general. it rarely sounds good.

The one here in Nashville has very good sound. Pit is expensive though. Luckily thy have a small section of seats too. I’m just old and hurt to stand that long lol
