The only connection I can make to stomping on the beak of a dove is from The Office. Apparently it is a tradition that the Schrutes know of where if you offer someone you like the beaks of dead crows and they stomp on it, you will begin your courtship with them or something.

 

Maybe about the fucked up parts of society that we know are wrong that we go along with anyway and how we cope with that internally.
