Taylor's staff worked to get opponent on the ballot

Fucking livid about this. Republican Congressman Scott Taylor VA-02 paid his staff to gather more than half the needed signatures to get a previous Democratic challenger on the ballot as an Independent. Divide and conquer. Our Democratic candidate will lose the votes she needs. This is a lean Republican district and we need every. single. vote. The state races last year in VA were a positive sign but I'm not sure we can overcome this. I'm volunteering for the D nominee's campaign and this just took all the wind out of me. Fuck. Oh and that Independent candidate is currently on trail for defrauding the government. What the hell is she doing handing Taylor the election?
