Sorry to hear that. I’m assuming the pressure/uncertainty at work is at play in your struggles.

I do doubt that you and Barry share much outside of your appreciation for good deals and gaming the free market.

 

yeah, work issues have really taken a toll on me.

hopefully going to hear in the next day or two about that. have a little more hope than I did a week ago though.

Couponing jokes aside, Punch Drunk Love was great.

 

Don’t know the sitch, but I’ve grown to be more comfortable with saying sorry a lot more in recent years, even if I strongly have this feeling that I’m free of blame.

I find that if I say I’m sorry without any accusations or “but yous”, my wife will reciprocate and be more willing to discuss what led us to that point in a more open and guilt-free way.

Sorry if that doesn’t help but I’m sorta drunk and sentimental and I don’t want people to fight.

The dumb services that they are linked to sometimes allows movies to be shared with other accounts

Mainly I have 9 movies anywhere accounts linked to 9 vudu accounts. 8 really only use 2 or 3 of them.

Once my library gets bigger or I stop getting credits for free I'll probably have them merge all my vudu accounts into 1 and that would be great.

Kind of sucks but I have a total of like 350 movies now I those accounts.

Might have them merge my accounts soon to have a better main account. Currently have 237 movies in my main movies anywhere account, so I'm missing about 100 movies but not all of them get carried over to movies anywhere since some studios (paramount, lions gate, mgm mainly) are not participating so far with MA.

When you were growing up did your parents spend a lot of money that they didn’t have and the coupon thing is you overcompensating?

I also have met people on the opposite spectrum whose parents were insanely frugal and then their children spent like crazy. Vicious cycle.

So started with tmobile Tuesdays giving free vudu codes.

I have 9 lines on the family account so I get 9 codes.

Can't use more than 1 per vudu account so made 9 accounts.

Everytime they give out codes if get 2 - 3 movies per account.

Going on over a year now and it just all adds up.

 

We were poor growing up. My mom did coupon stuff and was good at making money go farther. Got that from her.

My brother spends all his money as fast as he can.

Granted my parents had better income when my brother was growing up than when I was. Im 5 years older than 1 and 10 years older than the other. They both don't care about saving money really.

My sister who's 5 years old than me is a saver and good with money and her and her husband make good money now.
