But if I want them to, will they come to me soon? Will they fluctuate between midnight and past noon? Was kind of banking on a future that'd be involving you but I couldn't ask this of you

Driving home from Seattle at the moment so typing is not super safe so I can't copy out my "favorite lyric" atm, but one of my favorites off the top of my head is in two deliverances "I can't drop my history just to become new"... Just so relatable, hits home

I definitely hear some brother, sister influence on the structure of this record. (Mainly with the use of interludes I guess) Pretty cool he named Aaron as one of his favorite song writers.

Lately whenever I listen to "You In This Light" I get huge JEW Clarity vibes. Like it could totally fit with that record had JEW written it 20 years ago lol

For those of you, who are, like me, up late at night, here's my piece I wrote on the album. It's definitely long, so if you're not feeling it, that's totally fine. I just wanted to get all my thoughts out there on why I feel like this is basically a modern piece of Transcendentalism art. I'll probably edit it a bit more in the morning and post the link again when that happens/when the thread conversation passes it by, but here it is:

On Fleeting Love, Cosmic Conciousness, and Transcendentalism in The Hotelier’s Goodness | The Garden Statement

Also, I don't like how my personal blog handles block quotes but I don't have the time or the brainpower to recode/fix that, so I'll just have to accept it.

Oh yeah and NSFW tag since the artwork is at the top of the review

    This and:

"In this young night's sky there are pinhole lights. Find the shape of a harp and an arrowhead.
Do I hear your tunes or acknowledge wounds that I got from rubbing elbows with a sharpened edge?"

Or, you know, basically all of Two Deliverances tbh.

Damn what a read.. I think it's worth noting that not many records in our scene inspire lyrical write ups of this magnitude. I love that the lyrics from this record really read like poetry and I think you did a great job connecting the themes of the mentioned writers to the themes on the album. Thanks for this.

Here's the setlist I saw last night, though I think they may be changing it up a tiny bit, since they said they hadn't played "In Framing" on this tour yet:

    Goodness Pt. 2
    Piano Player
    Your Deep Rest
    Among the Wildflowers
    Life in Drag
    N 43° 33' 55.676" W 72° 45' 11.914
    Two Deliverances
    Settle the Scar
    N 42° 6' 3.001" W 71° 55' 3.295
    Soft Animal
    Sun
    In Framing
    An Introduction to the Album
The Scope of All This Rebuilding
    Dendron

They will probably play a couple more songs as well, but they got started about fifteen minutes late.

Did anyone who ordered the 7 inch separate get it shipped yet? I heard they were shipping it out/some people got it and my Tiny Engines order says nothing. I have an unkown UPS package being shipped to me from Colorado (yay UPS my choice alerts) so maybe that's it?

Was it 15 minutes late? I thought Loone went longer because Walter etc's set was only like 15 minutes so they still ended at 9:30, putting the Hotelier on at 9:50, I could be mistaken. I think those are all the songs played at all the other dates anyway though
