Problem is that the feud was way hotter than the title. Black was never going to be the main event while Gargano and Ciampa were fighting on the same Takeover. This just put Aleister in the main event program, and coming out of last night, he is now the absolute top babyface in the program. Gargano done goofed, and boy, Black is going to get a buttload of sympathy.

 

Ciampa's side plates are just his name.

It strikes me that the logical outcome is Triple Threat at Brooklyn, Black wins it back (and Gargano screws Ciampa in the process). And Takeover:War Games is Team Gargano v Team Ciampa. Because thats what War Games was meant for...two teams and it feels like a feud ender a la HIAC. And I could see Gargano/Burch&Lorcan/War Raiders v Ciampa, TUE, and maybe a big dude like Lars.

 

I think the war games match should be TUE vs BSS vs War Raiders and Lars or Ricochet

Then have Black vs EC3 for the belt and Johnny vs Ciampa in three stages of hell, loser leaves NXT forever
