This probably. Personally I don’t see how they write another record together. I could totally see them going on tour and just skipping California songs or whatever discog includes Matt.

 

I think there could be another couple records with Tom down the line, but it's going to end in turmoil again for sure.

 

Looks like I actually am going to the Grand Rapids date! Extremely excited. I never thought I’d see them in a 1700 cap room

 

The amount of people thinking that Matt isn't an actual part of the band is staggering to me. Like he is just filler until Tom comes back. Like he hasn't betrayed the band so many times before. Like Mark would just let him back in. Its so weird to me. Tom will most likely never be in the band in any way shape or form.

 

I don't think the two opinions are mutually exclusive. You can be 100% of the view that Matt is an integral member of the band, but also have the view that Tom will, at some point, play music with this band again.

I honestly think that, when a tour with Tom does inevitably happen, they'll probably just do everything as a four-piece.

 

I feel like when/if they get inducted into the Rock & Roll HOF they'll play with Tom. I would actually be pretty bummed if they didn't and I fully support Tom never being in the band again

As much As I would’ve preferred for them not to carry on without Tom, I’m not sure I would want him back in for the foreseeable future, if at all. Tom getting kicked out of blink and all the drama the preceded it really felt like the final nail in the coffin in the relationship. I wish they would’ve hung it up and continued +44 instead,with or without Matt. I’ve seen blink 3 times with Matt and while it’s good and enjoyable for what it is, I liken it to Queen with Adam Lambert. I’m sure it’s a great performance, but it’s not the same. Also, the similarities between blinks California/DLX and Goldfingers latest album compared to Kuts and ALK3 latest single further cements my perspective that Feldmann is the third band member of blink and Matt is more of a touring member of blink than anything else.

 

Such a bummer that they clearly can’t work together. Matt is great (loved Cali) but live show suffers imo. Would take tom back. My friend and I have a bet that for next year (20 years of enema) tom will play atleast one show with them.

 

I know it's the music scene so you never say never but I think it would take a lot for Mark and Travis to reunite with Tom again. Blink is in a good healthy place right now, why would they risk going backwards? That's the upside for them? They're more successful and popular without Tom then they were at any point with him since 2005.

 

That’s just the thing, though- why is it inevitable? The only situation I can see- and someone mentioned it- is if they get inducted into the HOF. Otherwise, I would bet good money on atom never playing with them ever again.

 

They will almost assuredly do something retrospective with Tom again, but likely no new music.

 

I think I've hated everything about Tom for the past 5-10 years. All he does is just "tease" actual shit to his loyal die-hard fans and for some reason they buy into it. His social media presence is very off-putting. Never mind him essentially stealing everyone's money for Modlife years back with that rip off of a site.

BUT. He was my original draw to the band. He was always my favorite. And when they get inducted, I would expect him to be there. I do not think Matt would be offended by it, and would totally understand. In terms of a future tour and music I really cannot see Mark getting down with that.

 

As much as I love Matt I don't think he should be inducted.

 

I think it all depends on if/when the band gets inducted and what's blink musical output been with Matt are the time of induction. I think it's too early to give a definitive yes or no. If they got inducted next year I absolutely agree but if it's in 5-10 years who knows.

 

I do think they’ll get in the HOF but not for a while, same way it took Yes a billion tries.

 

Noo it's my friend's but we're rolling with like 15 deep. Our friend is kinda funny looking so we're legit all going to be wearing his face on t-shirts. At least that's the plan for now haha.

got my PA tixs today. Wanted to do the meet and greet, but not for $290 after fees. If its was Tom, Mark, and Travis and it was 18 years ago when I was in High School I would have thought about it. But seems very overpriced.

 

And like clockwork, Tom name drops blink in an Instagram post about To The Stars... Never seen a person keep talking about a project/band they wanted no involvement in. It just confuses me.

Anyone get tickets to the Mohegan Sun show? Was able to snag one, but not in the pit :(

 

I got lucky and was able to get tickets through my wife’s aunt who’s in some kind if Mohegan Sun VIP program and can get tickets early. No idea where the seats are but they are in the lower bowl. I went on Ticketmaster at 10 am to see what was available and there weren’t a lot of options just random 1 seats here and there. I saw a whole row disappear so the ticket scalper bots must have been busy.

VIP packages are outrageous.
