Quick question, do I go to hell if I wear a shirt with an upside down cross on it?

 

Still playing Mene, hm, maybe it willlll be on the new album. I know loads on here don't want that but for some reason I do. Even if it's tacked on as a bonus.

The upside down cross is a little disappointing personally, but I'll live.

The date range thing is so baffling.

 

It's flowers, God will be like its pretty and has really bad type so you're good.

I won't personally buy that one, because I'd get funny looks from my students (I'm a youth pastor) and their parents. Not worth the trouble. Or I'm going to hell and all of my learning and teaching and faith is folly because I was a Brand New fan before I was a Jesus fan.

 

Bummed that they're (apparently) done in two years... now I know who I'm seeing every time they hit my neck of the woods from here on out.

 

I know what you mean. The upside-down cross is actually a religious symbol in itself relating to humility (it's a reference to St. Peter) but I'm in Missouri so I'm sure I'm probably going to have to explain myself a time or two, haha.

 

Two years is an oddly specific time to know you're done. It's also enough time for one more album (after this year's), maybe?

 

"eighteen forever" is super clever. You think they're really breaking up or just trolling. Maybe a really planned out swan song, last album, last hoorah?

THEY WOULD. They're probably gonna put "My Nine Rides" on the album now too. (But seriously like the type is easily fixable and so bad and it ruins a pretty cool shirt that I wouldn't wear cause I'm not down to argue about religion in public, but still....)

The fan base is still insane, but yeah the shirt thing is weird

 

7 years between albums then two in two? I'm not convinced they have the attention span.
