    Whatever. Forever.

Also the $99 three day passes are almost gone. Probably not gonna be helped by this since I can only go on Sunday but it's cool for people to be getting cheaper tickets. Maybe I can convince a friend to give me the free one day.

I went all three days in 2016, after skipping in 2015, and I was so shook since I remember the shitstorms that were Friday 2014 and Sunday 2013.

I'm really hoping for a Bouncing Souls/Dillinger Four aftershow.

Warped Tour bands playing Riot? I could definitely see Knuckle Puck, State Champs (blink tour), Movements, The Maine, and SImple Plan (maybe) getting added.

Knuckle Puck and State Champs played last year, so I'd say they're pretty unlikely.

Yea a parking lot would be miserable. I don't really mind getting to Douglas Park. I usually just uber on the way there and then take the Pink line back. Other than a small walk to the pink line, it's not too bad.

That is what was a little nicer about Humboldt though is that it's a little less desolate, as you say, around there.

Overall, I really like it at Douglas Park though and I'd only want it to change if it was back to Humboldt. Part of what I love about Riot Fest > other festivals is that it really feels like it's in a park. It's a much more open area.

Eddie Carranza can fuck off. We definitely agree on that.

The main reason they couldn't do Lollapalooza is because the grass can't handle it. Jackson Park also has absolutely no transit compared to Douglas Park, which does.

They'll only be available until the next announcement which should be tomorrow. All the more reason to believe this is pure PR and trying to bump sales.

Yeah, Humboldt is the only realistic option if they were to move someplace within the city. Otherwise it's moving outside of the city.

For me, the free ticket thing works because I go with two other friends and one bought a full price pass and the other didn’t. She can use two of the free ones and just buy a single day.

Don't get the Strongbow cider, that helps not attract the bees. I'm horrified of bees, I stick to Dos Equis all weekend haha

I have the exact same list, except I didn't think of Joan Jett. Haha. I also wouldn't mind seeing Less Than Jake or Reel Big Fish added to the bill (although I honestly don't know that I need to see another "festival" set from either of those bands, haha).

Still holding out hope for MxPx to be added to as part of the second wave... I would imagine a weekend gig at a festival like this where they could see some friends, Mike could record a few podcast episodes, and they could push that new record would be perfect for them.

Who are we thinking for album plays? My guesses

    Easy picks
    Bad Religion- Suffer
    Lagwagon- Let's Talk About Feelings
    Spitafield- Remember Right Now
    Liz Phair- Exile In Guyville

    More out-there
    Incubus- Make Yourself
Alkaline Trio- From Here To Infirmary or Maybe I'll Catch Fire
Dillinger Four- Midwestern Songs of the Americas

Will never happen but I can dream
    The Wonder Years- The Upsides
blink-182- Dude Ranch, Enema or Self-Titled
    Mom Jeans.- Best Buds

I would add Sum 41 - Does This Look Infected? (didn't think so until they played it on Warped) and Suicidal Tendencies - Suicidal Tendencies on easy picks

I think the following are locks:

Bad Religion - Suffer (30 years)
Lagwagon - Let's Talk About Feelings (20 years)
Cypress Hill - Black Sunday (25 years)
Liz Phair - Exile in Guyville (25 years)

And I wouldn't be shocked to see Alkaline Trio doing Good Mourning, Suicidal doing the S/T record, and/or Atmosphere doing Seven's Travels (both 15 years). I didn't even think of Spitalfield (but that would be a good pick for the "token emo record" this year).

Dude Ranch would be amazing, but there's no way in hell that's going down. Haha. If anything, they'd be more likely to do self-titled, I think. I don't know how into seeing that live I'd be, to be honest...

My "high hope but probably not" pick would be for Dillinger Four to do Situationist Comedy or Versus God.

Also Killing Joke is playing Laugh At Your Peril on this tour

Alkaline Trio Goddammit is turning 20 and Good Mourning is turning 15 so those would be more likely

    Sum 41 I think is a lock

I would love to see Bouncing Souls do Summer Vacation more than anything but I know that won't happen

Sum 41 being a lock kind of bums me out. They've already done two tours on DTLI. Great album but I'm sick of it.
