I'm still compiling articles and information. If you find better ones than the ones I linked that you don't think I'd see/find, PM/quote me here. No idea what power the opening act has or if he can get off the tour at this point, but I figure I'd send over the information and see.

Movements dropped off of their tour with Moose Blood after receiving a ton of fan backlash. But I feel like Movements 100% knew about the situation since they tour with similar bands + are involved with that younger crowd.

 

Not to open a can of worms because I can’t really say much but I know from people closer to the situation/who have been involved with that band in the past that the Moose Blood accusations stretch far beyond just the nudes-stealing thing. It’s kind of an open secret among their scene that they are horrible people, and it’s a real shame because they used to be one of my favorite bands

And to be clear I didn’t mean to derail the thread talking bad about Ryan. I don’t think he remotely belongs in this thread because as far as I can tell he’s never been involved with anything like the threads topics. He is a jerk IMO but that doesn’t make him a bad guy or abuser or even abuse apologist. Just want to make that clear!!

Edited to add: I just wanted to clarify that Of course him opening for moose blood is worth discussion, I just don’t think my negative opinion of him should be equated with anything regarding allegations

As far as I know nothing has happened since. I suspect basically nothing can legally be done anyway, but no news has come about since. You said there were allegations against State Champs in another post, do you remember what they were?

There aren’t allegations against State Champs, they were just massive assholes during the Front Porch Step/No Good News debacle w Pure Noise

 

yeah I probably have said it before somewhere back in this thread. I truthfully have no idea whether or not anyone will come out about anything because it's all up to victims but I'd hope so just so some justice starts to maybe happen

With the robberies and shit going down recently, this dude should probably stay inside for the rest of the year. I don't see him making it past the first week on tour without someone wanting to beat him down.

 

I’m a camp counselor and I can confirm that Nicki Minaj still had a lot of YOUNG fans. It’s a fucking shame that unassuming parents are going to put their kids through a set from that filth.

 

69 is probably more popular than Nicki for young kids atm
