Yeah I guess so. 18 songs of about 4.5 minutes each is 81 minutes, so with a little bit of talking, setting up time, and extended outros and an encore it'd probably be about 95-100 minutes which sounds about right. Always seems to have been longer when I've watched them live haha.

 

wasn't abracadabra a rumored name for one of the demos or am I making that up?

I don't remember it coming up, but I wasn't a huge fan when the demos first leaked like I am now.

 

What time is it right now where they are playing? Should be going on soon yeah?

They go on at 9:25 PST. It's 7:30 now.

 

It's Vancouver, which puts it at PST. They're supposed to be on around 9:30 there, so another two hours.

 

Definitely not staying up here on the east coast. Will hope to wake up to some cool summary.

A small part of me wouldn't even be surprised. Watch them wait til the US tour to do anything interesting.

 

Brand New is the only band I've ever seen have fans counting down the seconds to when the band plays at a show that they're not even at. Haha I don't know if dedicated is a strong enough word to describe Brand New fans.

 

They drive my curiosity that's for sure.

 

I'm also on the east coast. Almost 11 PM here, and as we've discussed thoroughly in the Thirce - TBEITBN thread, I'm a dad, and sleep is precious to me.

I'll probably wake up at 2:00 AM to see what I've missed...

 

I know the feeling. Saw them play a fairly short set at Boston Calling a few years ago and it felt like an eternity (in a good way)

EDIT: Even watching the Austin City Limits footage, etc. on YouTube has the same effect.

Not sure. We really can't know how much input they have in their merch, especially since they moved to their own label.

 

I've seen them 7-8 times. Wish I could rattle off exactly which times, where, and with who. But I have a terrible long term (and short term) memory.

 

Haha. Apparently it's a historical design; supposedly the word arranged in an upside-down triangle like that was meant to ward away illness.
