Here, here. I wish her character in the Good Kids got more screen time. I feel like she is the next big star in young female actresses the way Anna Kendrick took off, and their styles are pretty similar imo.

Sort of related: I was playing Splatoon 2 yesterday and some person was using Tobias' job title as a username and I couldn't stop laughing. I'm not sure if Nintendo doesn't censor usernames or it just passed through them.

I love extras who stand out. I was watching Rebelde on Netflix and Mia and Miguel are fighting and Miguel storms off and randomly this lil old lady is hobbling in the snow in the middle of the shot like get it, sis! I need to add notable extras to my list of tumblr/blog ideas that I'll never actually do.

 

Anyone watch Dark Tourist? Seems super intriguing, yet mildly disturbing. Had no idea some of that stuff existed.

 

I watched the trailer yesterday and thought it looked interesting, but then I looked up a couple reviews which weren't favorable. Still might check it out

Also whenever I don't have time for a full episode of anything I've been watching Explained which is a Vox produced series of shorter episodes (all less than 20 minutes) covering topics like the racial wealth gap, monogamy, K-pop, cricket, etc. It's pretty neat

 

Just watched The Babysitter last night. Absolutely loved it.

 

Hmmm I didn’t find The Florida Project, Killing of a Sacred Deer, American Honey, or Swiss Army Man on there. Still a lot of a24 was added tho.

Ugh Rebecca Howe is the most annoying character on that show.

 

Oh God I was hoping the character would be fine and I could just hate her as a person/public figure.

 

I mean it's entirely possible that my knowledge of her being a Trump supporting scientologist shaped my opinion of her character.....but I just thought Rebecca's storylines were the worst.

 

Tbh I'm already resistant to this season lol too much change! I hate when shows get to a point where they feel the need to shake things up. I'm set in my ways!!

She won’t go away and this character will not make you feel any better about her as a person. They basically just tried to give her all of Diane’s flaws with none of the chemistry with Sam, at least in my opinion. The show is still good overall but I always preferred the earlier seasons just for that.

 

Man I used to really be on top of my Netflix shows but I still need to watch Jessica Jones S2, Luke Cage S2, and now OITNB is coming back :o.

My girlfriend got us hooked on the show Botched so we've been busy watching that on demand heh.

 

There's just too much shit out there to watch. It's overwhelming.
