Kelly Bilan (formerly of Counterparts, removed for domestic violence) still tries to fuck with the band on Twitter like 2 years later. I don’t know why I’m sharing it but I just find it really pathetic and definitely not an accountability process.

If that's legit I'm not surprised. My opinion of Nicki Minaj went straight out the window years back when the shit involving her brother went down and everyone, including her rabid fanbase, just kind of quietly stopped talking about her.

I could have received false info or missed something important about the situation but it seemed pretty damning at the time.

 

Came to post about their collab after reading that he was beat up, guess my notifications for this thread aren’t working. I don’t follow her super closely but this is still incredibly disappointing.

 

I think I have mentioned this before, but I have friends who work at festivals here in the UK and apparently she is the WORST person. Rude, demeaning, demanding, dismissive, ungrateful, egtistical, etc. So this doesn't surprise me.

It isn’t surprising to see these people not give a shit, but it is very predictable.

You’re more likely to get blacklisted in this scene for taking a stand against abuse than you are for committing it.

 

Part of it has gotta be Hopeless, no? Using their legacy artist to draw people to a Moose Blood show. Especially since their last NYC was so undersold (I think only about 700 tickets for an 1100 cap venue).

 

Sorry to break it to you but Moose Blood are massive over in the UK. They drew the biggest non headline crowd at Slam Dunk this year other than Taking Back Sunday. People turn out to see them at festivals in their droves, and at 2000 Trees they had tons of the other bands watching them too.

They might not be as big in the US but they are big enough here that Hopeless won't drop them ever really.

I do wonder if Ryan Key knows about it and if so how he feels? He seems like someone that would care about this.

Honestly I am not surprised in the slightest. Everything I know about the guy says he wouldn’t care. Maybe I’m wrong!
