just checked my last.fm, and I listened to LIIWMI 43 times in the last week, since Friday lol. Does NOT feel like that at all haha

 

Man, I completely forgot about Last.fm. Don't think I've used that in 2-3 years.

 

mine stopped working right somewhere along the line so i gave up on it

Mine was fucking with my computer in some weird way in 2016 so I deleted it. Never installed it again when I got a new laptop.

 

I didn't have any scrobbles since May because that settings option was apparently taken off the spotify app. Apparently you have to connect your account via the last.fm website which I did today

That said, I don't really use it and I never log in. Spotify's end of year reports pretty much tell me everything I want to know.

 

Last.fm is one of the pieces of the early web I still use. Been using it since '04, and have over 150k scrobbles for 1700 artists.

My list for the band is weirdly dominated by the first album.

 

I started using last.fm once rdio got deleted.

last.fm is great, you don't have to install anything. Mine is connected through Spotify.

 

I’ve been scrobbling (ugh) since 2007 but I feel like it randomly stops for months at a time

 

I use a third-party app called Eavescrob for iPhone since there’s no integrated last.fm support on Apple Music, and the official app doesn’t work well. Between that and a scribbler on my laptop, it picks up pretty much everything for me.

Few things make me happier than the sporadic wobble of a spring reverb on a solo guitar track

 

This new single is infinitely better than GYAT. The 1975 are always better when they shoot above what they're capable of and hit it. It doesn't always work out for them, but I thought this one was great. A song that sounds like it only could come from The 1975.

 

GYAT is absolutely incredible and it makes me sad that people don’t agree. Maybe they just have to wait to see it live to get it lol

 

I like GYAT a lot more cause it reminds me of Sex in its more rock character, and that song got me into the band.

 

Yikes, I cannot get on the "Love It If We Made It" is better than "GYAT" train. I like the new song, but it certainly doesn't top my list of favorite 1975 songs like it seems to be for some people. "Give Yourself a Try" means a whole lot to me and is my favorite of the two. "Love It If We Made It" is good but I think there will be better songs on this album. Also I think Matty is going to blow those verses live.

 

I'm glad they went back to a real drum kit in "Love It if We Made It". George Daniel is one of the best drummers out there.

 

Love It If We Made It is my favorite of the two but both are incredible songs. The message that I take from GYAT’s lyrics is absolutely beautiful.
