He did, but the stones glow when Thanos is using them. It wasn't glowing in his fight with Hulk. It might give him some residual strength simply from his possession of the stone (that's never mentioned in the movie though), but the dude is really powerful even without the stones.

Saw this again last night and still loved it.

Had to see it after surviving Thanos' massive ban on Reddit.

I survived also! Or was I spared? Is it still in theaters there?

As did I, there's still a ton of subscribers though, so it doesn't feel as much of an event.

For some reason, it's still on a four times each day at one of the smaller Cinemarks here. Only theater in the whole area. We were surprised because there was probably 20-25 people in the theater last night. It's set up to go at least another week. Luckily, this group with several little kids was quiet, but I was tempted to go say "you know, this hits video in 3 weeks."

Either way, it was worth it because it was discount Tuesdays and the ticket was under $5.

I think that's because even if you get banned, you can still be subscribed to the sub

People who were banned were given a message with instructions that included unsubscribing from it but some people just don't let good things happen

I put this off because of Marvel fatigue but finally saw it last night before it leaves theaters. Surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

For shame. How could your Marvel fatigue set in right when the culmination of the last 10 years brings everything together? haha

Oh it's been there for a long time. Didn't even see AoU until way after it was on bluray.

  15. I'm actually surprised at how forgiving audiences have become with weak MCU entries. AoU was pretty bad and didn't seem to affect the momentum and success of Civil War or Infinity War.

I don't think audiences are as tolerant with other franchises.

It's really because AoU is not near as bad as people online make it out to be.

Great action, set pieces, comedy, character moments but somehow it's terrible? The majority of people don't feel that way.

I love most of AOU, it just has some really dumb parts.

I think it's because there aren't real consequences with the films. Characters "die" but then are brought back by either them being rebooted or just brought back with whatever stone.

    It makes them feel empty.

That it does. I find it weird though that those few parts bring down an entire film, esp when so much is packed into it.

Hey now, don't get mad. And I don't do this in every thread. Just because it's all you chose to see of me doesn't mean it's all that I am. Also, I didn't tell anyone to stop enjoying it. Like I've said before, I like a lot of terrible things. I like Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift for example, but am I naive enough to call it good? Of course not.

Also the reverse is true, "people can hate different things than you." Please don't come straight at me with hostility without trying to understand where I'm coming from.

    Yeah, Tokyo Drift is bad.

I like the 90s Spawn film, even though I know full well it's garbage.

I think AoU is pretty bad. It's the worst "comedy" in any of he MCU movies. The opening with Captain America saying something about language makes me want to scream
