I've always wanted to try fantasy since I watch and read an obscene amount about baseball, but I've never really given it a shot.

 

What an adventure this Cleveland outfield has been

 

Jesus... As of now the NL All-Star starters are 5/9 Cubs- including the entire infield. If Arrieta gets tapped to start it'll be 6/9.

 

Yeah they definitely don't all deserve to be starting, ha. Zobrist for sure, but I'm not so sure of anyone else. I'll take it though.

 

I am going to the All-Star game this year, so the more Cubs playing the better!

 

Hahah yeah I agree. From the looks of it though, it seems like they all have pretty sizable leads, except for Russell and Story are neck and neck. The Cubs bandwagon is going to reach critical mass soon.

 

I voted for every Cubs player haha. And its crazy, because you can vote up to 35 times. Which, to me, is a stunningly random number.

 

I also voted for every Cubs player, because why not! Only voted once though haha.

 

Oh that's fuckin awesome. And yeah, it looks like there will be a ridiculous amount of Cubs there. On top of the 5 leading the race to start, I'd imagine Arrieta, Rondon, and possibly Hammel will make it in as well. Montero and Heyward look to be in the running, and I bet if Rossy was on the ballot he'd be up there too. Gonna be a fun one.

 

Yeah, it is pretty awesome timing. My parents own a place in downtown SD withing walking distance from the stadium. So we were excited to make a vacation out of it. Such fortunate timing that it coincided with the Cubs rise. I am really psyched.

 

You can vote up to 35 times, but only 5 times per 24 hours. So I voted 5 times today haha.

 

Zobrist, Fowler, and Bryant should all be All Stars if the game was tomorrow. Rizzo could turn it up and earn his way in over the next month or so. Arrieta should make it.

How does it work for pitchers? Are they voted in or selected by the manager?

Ron Folwer is like a drunk, disappointed parent at a family gathering and it's glorious.

 

Never really voted for All Star Games, I don't have that kind of commitment towards spamming a voting system.

 

I voted a lot last year trying to get rid of all the stupid Royals. See if I feel the urge this year. Last year was the first time I really voted much at all

 

Speaking of the Royals, sure have noticed that the Royals bandwagon in this state has thinned out quite a bit since the team hasn't been so hot this season.

 

Manager picks em- which I think is a drag because we'd have a hell of a race going on right now for the starting spot.

 

I should be on a biscuit right now, cause I'm jelly. You going to the HR Derby too? That's definitely a bucket list item of mine.
